I. Product Overview
The Canon imagePROGRAF iPF755/iPF750 are 36-inch 5-color wide format
printers that are designed for medium to large-scale enterprises that require high-
volume output of engineering drawings, circuit diagrams, perspective drawings
(for manufacturing of mechanical parts or products), electrical circuit design,
surveying, GIS applications, or similar tasks.
The imagePROGRAF iPF755/iPF750 printers are designed with a fully front
operation, which provides end-users with a smaller footprint as well as access
from the front to load paper. The iPF755/750 ink supply system reduces waste
ink during cleaning and maintenance. In addition, the iPF755 printer includes an
80 GB Hard Disk Drive (HDD), which improves print performance in network
workgroup user environments.
II. Design Features
A. Dye and Pigment Reactive Ink Technology
Canon's 5-color dye/pigment Reactive Ink technology utilizes four highly
colorfast dye inks for producing bold, expressive color, plus two channels of
matte black ink for printing precise lines, smooth curves and small text on
technical and office documents. These Canon inks provide superior adhesion
to media, scratch and marker resistance and ensure minimal "bleeding"
between colors and text.
B. Ink Tank Replacement Without Stopping
The imagePROGRAF iPF755/iPF750 is capable of maintaining ink in sub-ink
tanks as a reserve to enable the end-user to replace ink tanks without
stopping the printer.
C. Fully Front Operation
The imagePROGRAF iPF755/iPF750 is a full front operation printer. This
design provides end-users access from the front to load media and retrieve
media. This space saving design has a small footprint and allows the
imagePROGRAF iPF755/iPF750 to be placed flush against a wall during
operation.
