4.4 After use
4.4.1 Checking and replacing the hose unit
Visually inspect the hose unit for damage after approx.
20 operating hours (equal to around 80 packs of smoke
ampoules).
1. Pull slide-in module out of the housing.
2. Remove the hose unit from the inside of the slide-in
module.
3. Check the hose for damage.
If the hose is undamaged:
Insert the hose unit back into the slide-in module and slide

the slide-in module into the housing.
Visually inspect the hose unit at regular intervals.

NOTICE
Using a damaged hose can cause damage to the device.
If the device is not going to be used for longer periods or is
being stored, pull the slide-in module with hose unit out of the
housing by about 5 mm. Storing in this state prevents the hose
unit from bending.
► If the hose is damaged: Replace the hose unit.
Flow Check
