Use
Yellow LED flashes rapidly: the battery charger is
defective and must be replaced.
The charging process takes around 3 hours depending on the
charge status of the battery pack.

Replacing the battery pack (Fig. B)
1. Slide the battery lock button upwards:
The battery pack is unlocked.
2. Pull the battery pack out of the air flow indicator battery
compartment and insert the charged replacement battery
into the battery compartment.
3. Slide the button down: The battery pack is locked.

Inserting or replacing the smoke ampoules
1. Slide the battery lock button upwards:
The battery pack is unlocked (Fig. B).
2. Pull the battery pack out slightly (Fig. C/1).
3. Lift off the housing flap (Fig. C/2).
4. Remove the empty smoke ampoule from the air flow
indicator (Fig. C/3).
5. Take the new smoke ampoule from the packaging.
Remove the protective cap and seal (Fig. C/4).
6. Insert the smoke ampoule into the air flow indicator with the
outlet side and slide into the blue socket (Fig. C/5).
7. Close the housing flap (Fig. C/6).
8. Re-insert the battery pack (Fig. C/7).
Slide the button down: The battery pack is locked (Fig. B).

Inserting or replacing the fog nozzle
1. If using a new pack of smoke ampoules, replace the nozzle
used in the air flow indicator with the nozzle included in the
pack.
2. Remove the nozzle from the air flow indicator holding seal.
3. Take the new nozzle from the pack and insert it into the air
flow indicator holding seal as far as it will go (Fig. A/8).

Locking the hose unit

1. Insert the slide-in module with hose unit into the housing as
far as it will go before use (Fig. 1).
2. If the device is not going to be used for longer periods or is
being stored, pull the slide-in module with hose unit out of
the housing by about 5 mm (Fig. 2). Storing in this state
prevents the hose unit bending (Fig. 3).
