Measuring Diode
Smart Mode can automatically detect the diode direction and show the corresponding
value/status.
This meter outputs positive and negative test signals separately to test the DUT under
Smart mode.
Compared to Smart mode, the output test signals of Classic mode are always positive.
That is the same as the traditional Diode function of DMM.
Press the left/right Button to select measuring Mode after pressing the "FUNC" button
short into the function menu and at the end press the "OK" button short to confirm.
1. Before starting the test:
(a) The circuit under test must be completely de-energized.
(b) Check the fuse is good. See the chapter "Testing the fuse".
2. Lock mode : Press the "Lock" button >2 sec to enter the Lock Mode.
3. Then press the "TEST" button to start the test. The test voltage will continue to be
applied until the "TEST" button is pressed again.
4. The meter displays the "OL" symbol and the maximum voltage for the range when
the measured voltage is higher than the maximum display range.
