Chapter 6: Configuring Combine
If rotary end dividers (REDs), an auto header height control (AHHC) system, or row guidance have been installed, the
combine that will be used to operate the header will need to be configured to use them.

6.1 Configuring Case IH Combines
Case IH combines can be configured to use rotary end dividers (REDs) and auto header height control (AHHC) if necessary.
Setting up REDs
1. On the combine display, navigate to the HEADER
SETUP 1 page.
2. From DECK PLATES menu (A) and HYDRAULIC ROTATING
DIVIDERS menu (B), select INSTALLED. The speed of the
REDs is controlled the same as the reel speed would be
controlled on a platform header.

3. Follow the instructions on the combine display to configure the AHHC. For assistance, refer to the combine operator's
manual.
