    SmartCell control panels containing backboards with riser card retaining slots. See page 8. For previous revisions of SmartCell control panels, the communications module can be connected externally via serial connection. A suitable enclosure must be used. Refer to the SmartCell programming guide (TSD155) for full wiring details.

    Connect the riser card • Carefully fit the riser card’s pins into the communications module’s terminal connections, ensuring the pins are aligned to the right-hand side as shown. • Ensure all pins are pushed in fully, and tighten the terminal connection’s screws to ensure a firm fixing. ©2022 EMS Ltd.
