Problem
The serial port doesn't
work.
The IrDA port doesn't
work.
The PC Card cannot be
accessed.
The touch screen does
not respond.

Troubleshooting
Resolution
Check that the cable connections are
secure.
Verify that the MobilePro PC Connection
setting is set correctly (see "Connecting
to Your PC via Serial Cable" in
Chapter 1).
Check the availability of the serial port
(see "Ensuring the Availability of the
Serial Port" in Chapter 1).
Check that nothing obstructs the path
between the transmitting and receiving
IR ports.
Check the information in "Connecting to
Your PC via Infrared Port" in Chapter 1
and "Using the IR Port," in Chapter 4.
Make sure the card is inserted correctly
and seated properly (see "Using PC
Cards" in Chapter 4).
Connect the unit to AC power using the
adapter. Some cards do not operate
properly unless the AC adapter is
connected.
Press Ctrl Alt = to calibrate the stylus
input. Follow the on-screen instructions
to complete the recalibration procedure.
Reset the unit (see "Resetting the
MobilePro" in Chapter 4).
