  • Page 35 Scanner Color Calibration This chapter is intended for PC users who utilize the Microtek Profile Maker (MPM) utility and IT8 color targets to generate scanner ICC profiles. Microtek Profile Maker (MPM) The Microtek Profile Maker (MPM) is a scanner calibration and profiling utility designed exclusively for Microtek scanners.

Use the Microtek Profile Maker (MPM) profiling utility to create an ICC profile for your scanner. D. Load and use the resulting scanner ICC profile.

  • Page 41 Calibration Setup After scanning and exporting the calibration target image, launch the Microtek Profile Maker (MPM) utility to configure the necessary settings for calibration. 1. Launch Microtek Profile Maker (MPM). When launched, the Microtek Profile Maker window will appear. 2. In the opened window, click on the ”Import” button to import the calibration target image (*.tif) you just created.
