The signal strength increases as you move toward the
transmitter and decreases as you move away from it. If the
signal strength is flickering, this indicates extreme interference.
An A near the roll indicator indicates signal Attenuation is in
effect. If the depth is less than 2.4m you can ignore this warning.

Move the locator to put the ball in the box.
The locator can face toward or away from the drill as long as it is parallel to
the direction of drilling.
Mark this position on the ground as the Front Locate Point (FLP).
