Before starting, always perform vehicle
pre-ride checks, to ensure safe operation

NOTE
This vehicle is equipped with an
electronic engine control unit capable of
detecting abnormal operation in real time
and storing faults.
Each time the ignition key is set to
word
" SERVICE"
right side of the multifunction display for
approximately three seconds.
I f t h e w o r d "
d i s p l a y e d d u r i n g n o r m a l e n g i n e
operation, it means that the Engine
Control Unit has detected a fault.
I n m a n y c a s e s t h e e n g i n e k e e p s
running with limited performance;
c o n t a c t a n L o c a l a p r i l i a D e a l e r
immediately.

CAUTION
After covering the first 625 mi (1,000
km) and every 6,250 mi (10,000 km)
thereafter, the "SERVICE" warning (2)
appears on the right display.

perform all service operations as
indicated in the scheduled maintenance
chart, see page 81 (REGULAR SERVICE
INTERVALS CHART).
