Have the oil and the front suspension oil
catcher checked following the Scheduled
Maintenance Table, according to your
vehicle's engine displacement (CCs).
REAR SUSPENSION ADJUSTMENT
The rear suspension consists of a dou-
ble-acting shock absorber (compression/
extension braking), with silent-block en-
gine mount.
The shock absorber has a ring nut, to al-
low regulation of the spring preloading.
The standard setting, installed in the fac-
tory, is for a rider who weighs roughly 155

lb (70 Kg). For other weights, use a hook
wrench (supplied) on the ring nut «1» to
define the ideal running settings.

Faire contrôler l'huile et le pare-huile de
la suspension avant sur la base du ta-
bleau d'entretien programmé, en fonction
de la cylindrée.
RÉGLAGE DE LA SUSPENSION AR-
RIÈRE
La suspension arrière est composée d'un
amortisseur à double effet (freinage en
compression/extension), fixé au moteur
par silentbloc.
L'amortisseur est pourvu d'un écrou, pour
le réglage de la précharge du ressort. Le
réglage standard, imposé par l'usine, est
prédisposé pour un pilote d'un poids de
155 lb (70 kg) environ. En fonction du
poids ou d'exigences diverses, agir sur la
