Installing CS380 (Mailbox)

Important
If you install the Mailbox and the
Paper Feed Unit, the Paper Feed
Unit must be installed prior to in-
stalling the Mailbox.
The Mailbox and the 1-bin Shift
Sort Tray cannot be installed to the
printer at the same time.
Check the printer nameplate to
confirm the model code.

Check the contents of the box for
the following items:
• Mailbox
• Output trays (4pcs)
• Output tray number seal
• Installation Guide

Be sure to check the following
points:
• The power switch is turned off.
• The power cord is unplugged
from the wall outlet.
• The interface cable is un-
plugged from the printer.

Remove the adhesive tapes and
the packing materials.

Remove the upper cover of the
printer.
Note
The upper cover that is re-
moved, is not used when in-
stalling the Mailbox.

Holding the Mailbox on both
sides, align the catches with the
holes on the printer and insert.
R CAUTION:
• When lifting Mailbox, hold it
on both sides. Holding under
neath the Mailbox may cause
injury to the hands if the Mail-
box and the printer.
