Note: In addition to the external power supply, you need a charged battery in the handgrip.
1.
Insert the end of the external power adapter into the FireWire port on the Leaf AFi imaging module.
2.
Connect the other end of the external power adaptor to the 12-volt DC power supply.
3.
Connect the power supply to a power outlet.

Tethered power management

By default, when you connect the camera system to the computer using the FireWire cable, the imaging
module draws power from the computer via the FireWire cable, and the camera is powered by the battery
in the handgrip.

module when you
shoot tethered.
