Initialisation/reset
Following assembly, or when the desk has been disconnected from the rechargeable battery for an extended
period of time, or if a fault has occurred on the desk, or if the connection between the drives and the motor
control unit was interrupted, the desk's motor control unit has to be initialised.
If the motor control unit expects a new initialisation, only lowering of the desk at reduced speed is possible.
To start initialisation, move the desk into its bottommost position. To do so, press and hold the "down" button
on the control until all the drives have reached the bottommost position. Then, press the "down" button again
and hold it for at least 10 seconds. Now press the "down" button again until the desk moves down slightly and
then up again. Only release the button once the desk has stopped moving. If the button is released too soon,
this causes a desk malfunction. If the button was released early by accident, you must repeat the process.
The top limit position is pre-set in the motor control unit. For this reason, only motor control units that were
provided for the respective desk frame may be used.
Danger: During all reset processes, collision protection is not active. Note that there is a
potential crushing hazard in this situation.
