Charging the battery
Charging a fully discharged battery with the supplied charger takes approx. 5–6 hours.
Recharging the battery is only possible if the battery charge level is less than 75%.
To charge the battery, it must be pulled out of its holder underneath the desktop (see Fig. 4.2 a) and charged
at a socket using the charger supplied with this desk. To charge the battery, plug the 4-pole connection cable
of the charger into the charging socket at the back of the battery (see Fig. 4.2 b), making sure that the plug
locks firmly into place.
Make sure that the input voltage indicated on the charger matches that of the local power supply. The charging
process may only be carried out if these values match.
If the values match, plug the mains plug of the charger into a socket and start charging the battery. The charging
is confirmed by a flashing LED at the front of the battery. The number of the continuously lit LEDs indicates the
charge level of the battery (25% charge per one continuously lit LED).
If the LED display switches off during the charging process, you can reactivate it by pressing the push button
next to it.
The battery is fully charged when all 4 LEDs light continuously. When the battery is fully charged, the charge
control within the battery goes into trickle charge to ensure a continuously fully charged battery.
To use the charged battery, unplug the charger from the socket and remove the charging cable from the back
of the battery. Press the white lever of the connector to open the locking mechanism.
The battery can also be charged with the optionally available charger for 4 batteries.
Remove the battery from its holder underneath the desktop (see Fig. 4.2.a) and insert it into a slot of the 4-
battery charger (see Fig. 4.2.c) until the battery clicks into place.
The 4-battery charger may only be operated with a voltage of 100 to 240V and a frequency of 50 to 60 Hz. Make
sure that the input voltage indicated on the charger matches that of the local power supply.
Once the power supply has been established, the charging process of the battery begins immediately.
Once the battery has been charged, just pull it out of the 4-battery charger and slide it into the holder
underneath the desktop.
