Wireless is by far the most
expensive option, but it is
potentially the most
versatile. A wireless
network allows you to be
connected to a local
network or the Internet but
still be "untethered" by
cables.

Wireless Network

A wireless network interconnects computers using radio
frequency (RF) transmissions rather than wires. This type of
network allows the creation of a cordless local area network
(LAN) that lets you access files and print from any computer on
the network, and it lets you share a single Internet connection.
Advantages:
No wiring or additional equipment (such as a hub) is
necessary beyond the Home RF adapters
Not limited by wiring constraints
Disadvantages:
A slower data transfer rate than Home PNA and Ethernet
(currently up to 600 Kb/s)
