Recommended Hardware

connected with a Type I hose connector that
is (a) certified as being in compliance with
the Standard for Elastomeric Composite
Hose and Hose Couplings for Conducting
Propane and Natural Gas, CAN/CGA 8.1 ; and
(b) of a length of 36 ± 6 in (90 ± 15 cm).

The MRL Series heater is equipped to receive a gas supply line nipple of ½" NPT Schedule 40 metallic
pipe. All piping must be installed in accordance with the requirements outlined in the National Fuel Gas
Code ANSI/Z223.1 (latest edition) or CSA-B149.1. Support all gas supply piping with pipe hangers, metal
strapping, or other suitable material. Do not rely on the heater to support the gas pipe.
