Edge Sander Operations
symptom
Machine vibrates excessively (non-motor
related).
Sanded surface not square.
Deep sanding grooves or scores in
workpiece.
Abrasive grit rubs off the belt easily.
Sanding belt surfaces clog quickly or
burn.
Burn marks on workpiece.
Glazed sanding surfaces.
Workpiece frequently gets pulled out of
your hand.
Hard to install belts, belt slaps against
platen, slips on rollers.
Weak tension spring, excessive play in
