Angaben zum Explosionsschutz
Der Strömungswächter FS20-dbEX ist konstruiert zur
bestimmungsgemäßen Verwendung in explosions-
gefährdeten Bereichen nach Richtlinie 2014/34/EU
und kann in der Gerätegruppe II, Zone 1 (Gas) bzw.
Zone 21 (Staub) eingesetzt werden.
Er wurde nach den Bestimmungen der folgenden
Normen ausgelegt:
EN IEC 60079-0:2018, EN 60079-1:2014,
EN 60079-31:2014
Der Strömungswächter trägt folgende Kennzeichnung:
II 2G Ex db IIC T4 Gb
II 2D Ex tb IIIC T85°C...T120°C Db
Baumusterprüfbescheinigung: EPS 19 ATEX 1 235 X
Hinweise
• Eine Reparatur der Zünddurchschlagswege ist
nicht vorgesehen
• Die zulässige Umgebungstemperatur beträgt
-20 ... +65 °C
• Die zulässige Mediumstemperatur beträgt
-20 ... +100 °C
• Maximale Oberflächentemperaturen (für Staub)
in Abhängigkeit von der maximalen Mediums-
temperatur: siehe Tabelle
• Beim Kürzen des Anschlusskabels sind die einschlä-
gigen ATEX Vorschriften zu beachten
• Die Kabelverschraubung darf nicht gelöst werden

Information on explosion protection
The flow monitor FS20-dbEX has been designed for
use in potentially explosive atmospheres to directive
2014/34/EU and is meant for use in applications of
equipment group II, zone 1 (gas) and zone 21 (dust).
It has been designed according to the following
European standards:
EN IEC 60079-0:2018, EN 60079-1:2014,
EN 60079-31:2014
The flow monitor is marked as follows:
II 2G Ex db IIC T4 Gb
II 2D Ex tb IIIC T85°C...T120°C Db
EU-Type-Examination Certificate: EPS 19 ATEX 1 235 X
Remarks
• A repair of the transmission paths of an internal
ignition is not allowed
• The permissible ambient temperature is
-20 ... +65 °C
• The permissible
-20 ... +100 °C
• Maximum surface temperatures (for dust) as a
function of the fluid temperature: see table
• If the connection cable is shortened, the relevant
ATEX regulations must be observed
• Do not loosen the cable gland
