- Page 4 Driver Side Installation Step 1: Before installation, please remove the side mounting bracket of the original car to install the Hooke Road products. As the picture shown. Step 2: Remove the factory Side Steps, ready to install our product. First, distinguish the mounting bracket A1.
- Page 5 Step 3: Assemble mounting bracket A1 and A2 with the M8*25 button head socket cap bolts screws. Tighten up those bolts. Step 4: Lift up the mounting bracket into the position. Make sure that mounting locations are correct.
- Page 6 Step 5: Install the mounting bracket to your vehicle with M10*20 hex head screws, Tighten up those bolts. Step 6: Distinguish the decorative plate B1 and B2. NOTE: The decorative plate B1 is longer than B2. The rear side of the decorative plate B2 is curved, and the curved side is installed inward.
- Page 7 Step 7: Use M8*25 button head socket cap bolts screws to secure the decorative plate B1 to the front side of your vehicle. Tighten up those bolts. Step 8: Use M8*25 button head socket cap bolts screws to secure the decorative plate B2 to the rear side of your vehicle.
- Page 8 Step 9: Use M8*25 button head socket cap bolts screws to secure the mounting bracket A3 to your vehicle. Don’t tighten up those bolts. Step 10: Install the mounting bracket to you vehicle with M10*20 hex head screws. Then, tighten up all bolts.
- Page 9 Step 11: Assemble mounting bracket and main body with the M8*20 button head socket cap bolts screws. Step 12: Repeat the same procedure on the passenger side.
