Adjust Transport Lock
Before using the transport lock, the latching mechanism may need to be adjusted to the proper
left-right orientation and tightened in position. Attempting to engage the transport lock without
proper adjustment may cause damage to the door frame or step assembly.
1. Lift the step to its stored position (Fig. 5). Make sure transport latch flanges (Figs. 5A, 6A and 7A) are
resting against the door frame. If adjustment is required, loosen the bolts (Fig. 6B and/or Fig. 7B)
on either side of the adjustable transport lock. This allows for side-to-side adjustment in the latch
mechanism.
