    Notes Introduction The Project 2000 Sliding Step is a resistant to corrosion, lightweight, and has a thermal breaker in case of high strain. The foot board is constructed of anodized aluminum with anti-slip rubber. Disassembly of the Project 2000 Sliding Step voids the warranty. Contact Lippert to obtain replacement parts.

    Operation Do not walk on the step until it is completely stopped. Do not interfere with the step while in operation. Doing so may cause serious personal injury. Make sure that children are away from the electric step when it is in motion. Park the unit on level ground.

NOTE: D+ should be a positive line that comes from the vehicle anytime the parking brake is disengaged or the ignition is engaged. Alert Indicator circuit must be filtered to 12V.

    Maintenance Make sure unit is parked on a stable, level surface. Make sure power to the unit is turned off and/or disconnected. Prior to starting maintenance procedures, disconnect power to the step’s electrical system to prevent inadvertent operation of the step. After driving on roads that are salted, wash the step with fresh water.
