- Page 5 INSTALL TOOLS REQUIRED FOR THIS STEP: STEP | 01 LAYOUT AND INSTALL PREP 1.1 Dry Fit The Floor Support Extension: Place the Floor Support Extension on the left side of the factory step (FIG 1) and ensure alignment along the front side (FIG 2) matches the contours of the back side (FIG 3).
- Page 6 INSTALL TOOLS REQUIRED FOR THIS STEP: STEP | 01 LAYOUT AND INSTALL PREP 1.2 Confirm Fitment With The Step Extension Trim: Dry fit the Step Extension Trim to the Support Extension (FIG 4) and ensure that the bends align (FIG 5) and that all mounting holes are aligned (FIG 6) before proceeding to installation.
- Page 7 #2 PHILLIPS SCREWDRIVER TOOLS REQUIRED FOR THIS STEP: STEP | 02 INSTALL SUPPORT EXTENSION 2.1 Install the Floor Support Extension: Use (4) #8 Flat Head Drilling Screws (FIG 7-9) to secure the Floor Support Extension to the plastic of the factory step. NOTE - Hold the extension firmly in place to maintain alignment while driving in the screws F I G 7...
- Page 8 7/16” WRENCH OR SOCKET TOOLS REQUIRED FOR THIS STEP: #2 PHILLIPS SCREWDRIVER STEP | 03 ASSEMBLE SUPPORT BRACKET 3.1 Attach the Wood Flooring Extension to the Support Bracket: Bolt the wood Flooring Extension and Support Bracket together with (3) 6-32 X 0.625 Flat Head Phillips Drive Screws and 6-32 Nylon Locknuts (FIG 9).
- Page 9 TOOLS REQUIRED FOR THIS STEP: #2 PHILLIPS SCREWDRIVER IMPACT DRIVER OR DRILL STEP | 04 FLOOR INSTALL & ALIGNMENT 4.1 Loosely Attach Support Bracket Assembly to Flooring Extension: Take the Support Bracket Assembly and lay it down on top of the Floor Support Extension (FIG 11). Insert (2) 6-32 X 0.625 Flat Head Phillips Drive Screws in the locations shown in FIG 12 to ensure alignment of the pre-drilled holes.
- Page 10 7/16” WRENCH OR SOCKET TOOLS REQUIRED FOR THIS STEP: #2 PHILLIPS SCREWDRIVER STEP | 05 FINISH INSTALL 5.1 Secure the Flooring Extension to the Flooring Support Extension: Use the remaining 6-32 Flat Head Phillips Screws and Nylon Locknuts to secure the Support Bracket Assembly to the Flooring Support Extension (FIG 14).
