When pumping well water, install a filter at the end of the piping. Consult the pump seller
for filter specifications. When the pump is not used for a long period of time, remove the
pump from the pipework and store it in a dry environment.
Use a socket with earthing contact (China: socket type I, Thailand: socket type: O ). To con-
nect the pump to the mains supply, insert the plug into the socket.
Insert the free bare cable end in the motor's terminal box:

Earth the pump/installation as per regulations.
At delivery, there is a power cable with a length of 1.5 m mounted and the specific, earthed
plug needs to be mounted to the cable.
If there is no sufficient, earthed socket of the correct type within the range of the mounted
cable, the cable must be extended.
DANGER
Risk of fatal injury due to electrical current!
Incorrect behaviour when carrying out electrical work can lead to death
due to electric shock.
• Only let an approved electrician carry our electrical connection in ac-
cordance with the applicable regulations!
• Adhere to accident prevention regulations!
• Before beginning work on the product, make sure that the pump and
drive are electrically isolated.
• Make sure that no one can turn on the power supply again before
work is completed.
• Make sure that all energy sources can be isolated and locked. If the
pump was switched off by a safety device, it must be secured against
switching back on again until the error has been remedied.
• Electrical machines must always be earthed. Earthing must be appro-
priate for the drive and meet the relevant standards and regulations.
Earth terminals and fixation elements must be suitably dimensioned.
• In case of poor insulation effect, the earth wire must be connected to
the earth.
• Connection cables must never touch the piping, pump or motor hous-
ing.
• Set up poles or use PVC pipes when pulling wires so that people can-
not reach them.
• If it is possible for persons to come into contact with the pump or the
pumped fluid, the earthed connection must also be fitted with a re-
sidual current circuit breaker.
• Do not bend, wrap, tug or twist the power cord, as this may cause
leakage, electric shock, fire and other accidents.
• When using the pump, do not get the plug wet as this may cause an
electric shock.
• In order to prevent electric shock accidents, ensure that the power
supply voltage is within the rated voltage range of 220-230V ±10%
and use AC220V special fixed sockets.
• Use the pump within the specified voltage or it may malfunction. In
areas with severe voltage differences, consult with the local power
supply company.
