Troubleshooting, remedy
The device may only be installed and maintained by qualified specialists, mechanics and electricians.
Always check the safety devices after repair or maintenance work.
Fault
Pump does not run
Pump is running,
but does not suck
Pump runs, but negative
pressure of -0.6 bar is not
reached
Warning device does not work
Load cannot be sucked in.
Required negative pressure can
no longer be reached.
Vacuum reduces too quickly
when the device is switched off.

Cause
Motor defective
V-belt torn or too loose
Slide valve is closed
Vacuum hose defective
Workpiece has cracks, recesses or is
porous
Seal on suction plate is damaged
Pressure gauge is defective
V-belt is slipping
See operating instructions for the warning device
Leak on suction plate due to
deposited dirt between rubber seal
and suction plate.
Sponge rubber seal worn or porous
(ageing after exposure to UV
radiation)
Remedy
Check engine / call customer service
Replace / retighten V-belt
Open
Check / replace vacuum hose
Workpiece not suitable for suction
Replace seal
Replace pressure gauge
Tighten V-belt
Remove the rubber seal from the suction
plate.
Clean suction plate and slot in rubber seal.
Replace and secure the rubber seal on the
suction plate.
Replace rubber seal if necessary.
