    6 Use Information on the Cockpit app • The Cockpit app can be downloaded free of charge from the respective app store (Apple app store, Google Play). Enter the following search terms: “Cockpit”, “Ottobock”. • The user can set the user interface language of the Cockpit app the first time it is started and at any time later on in the Cockpit app.

    11.6 Resetting the password If the password has been forgotten, it can be reset by tapping “Forgot your password?” before you log in on the “MyOttobock account” login screen. An Internet connection is required. 11.7 Activity measurement with the component The component can be used for recording personal activity data.

    Period of use Daily operating hours for the component, not including charging time and energy saving function. Walking Calculation of the daily duration for walking on level ground and walking on ramps and stairs based on analyses of the average step duration of prosthesis wearers, dependent on the speed and type of step (on level ground, ramp or stairs).

    To share activity and component data with your organisation through the Cockpit app, you have to accept the invitation in the app. 1) After successfully logging in, the “MyOttobock account” page opens automatically. 2) Accept the open invitation from the organisation by tapping the green arrow 3) You must then agree to share the data.

    15 MyModes MyModes are intended for specific types of movement or posture (e.g. golf, basketball, …). The O&P professional can activate and configure these in addition to basic mode (mode 1) using an adjustment app. The MyModes can be switched using the Cockpit app or movement patterns. Switching by using movement patterns has to be activated in the adjustment software by the O&P professional.
  • Page 18 1) Tap the icon of the desired MyMode (1) in the main menu of the app. → A security question for changing the MyMode appears. 2) If you want to change the mode, tap the “OK” button. → An acoustic signal is produced as confirmation of switching.

    16 Special features of the MyModes (Kenevo) 16.1 Using a bicycle ergometer The “Bicycle ergometer” MyMode allows an indoor bicycle to be used without exiting the currently selected activity mode. Note the prerequisites for switching and the differences for activation in the respective activity modes.

    17 Special features of the MyModes (C-Leg) 17.1 Deep sleep mode INFORMATION If the Volume parameter is set to “0” in the Cockpit app, there are no beep signals (Changing prosthesis settings). In addition to the MyModes for certain movement types, a “Deep sleep mode” MyMode can be activated using the adjustment app.
  • Page 22 4) Move the prosthetic leg in next to the contralateral leg, set it down and keep it still for approx. 1 second. → A confirmation signal will sound to indicate that the prosthesis has successfully switched over to basic mode. INFORMATION: If this confirmation signal does not sound, the leg with the prosthesis was not correctly repositioned and kept still.

    26 Changing settings (Genium X4) 26.1 Deep sleep mode When this mode is activated, the knee joint can be placed into what is known as a deep sleep, in which power consumption is reduced to a minimum. The knee joint offers no functionality in this mode.

The stance function is activated as soon as the knee joint is at rest and under load. It is unlocked again with a forward or backward rollover, or by extending or unloading the knee joint.

    Late stance phase support This parameter sets the flexion resistance behaviour starting in the mid stance phase while walking down ramps and stairs. The step should be selected so that walking down steep ramps/stairs is suffi­ ciently supported. On flat ramps, the selected step is automatically reduced to ensure sufficient ground clearance in the extension.
