06/ Configuring the Device for DMX Control 6.1 DMX512 Connection 1. At last unit, the DMX cable has to be terminated with a terminator. Solder a 120-ohm 1/4W resistor between pin 2(DMX-) and pin 3(DMX+) into a 3-pin XLR-plug and plug it in the DMX-output of the last unit.
6.2 Address Setting All fixtures should be given a DMX starting address when operating with a DMX controller, in order to ensure that the correct fixture responds to the correct control signal. Incorrect settings will result in unpredictable responses from the lighting controller. You can set the same starting address for all fixtures or a group of fixtures, or set different addresses for each individual fixture.
