2.Product overview
CYW 15 series liquid level transducers adopt OEM pressure sensor with
stainless steel isolation diaphragm as signal measuring element. After
automatic testing by computer, temperature compensation of zero point and
sensitivity in wide temperature range is carried out by laser resistance
adjustment technology. The amplification circuit is located in the
stainless steel case, which converts the sensor signal into standard output
signal, giving full play to the technical advantages of the sensor, so that
the CYW 15 series liquid level transmitter has excellent performance. It
has strong anti-interference ability, small temperature drift, high
stability and high measurement accuracy. It is an ideal pressure measuring
instrument in the field of industrial automation.

3.Working principle
STAR METER
The pressure formula of the sensor facing the liquid surface is
as follows:Ρ=ρgh + Po:
P :Pressure on the liquid surface of the sensor (hereinafter
referred to as pressure for ease of understanding)
ρ:Measured liquid density(debugging defaults to1g/cm³ )
g :Gravity acceleration (
Po:Atmospheric pressure on liquid surface
h :Depth of sensor input into liquid
When the sensor is put into a certain depth of the liquid under
test, the pressure of the medium under test is introduced into the
positive pressure chamber of the sensor. The pressure P o on the
liquid surface is connected with the negative pressure chamber of the
sensor through the cable guide pipe to offset the positive pressure
of the sensor, so that the pressure measured by the sensor is Rho gh.
Obviously, the liquid level depth can be obtained by measuring the
pressure P.

7.Installation and precautions
Warning!
a)Installation of equipment without pressure or power supply.
Warning!
b) Prohibit measurement of media incompatible with transmitter
contact material.
c) When receiving the product, please check whether the package is
in good condition, and check whether the transmitter model and
specifications are in conformity with the products you choose.
! d)No modifications or changes can be made to the equipment.
! e)Do not throw the transmitter at will. Do not use brute force
when installing the transmitter.
f)If the transmitter is installed in a bad site and will encounter
dangerous damage such as lightning strike or overvoltage, we recommend
that the user protect against lightning strike and overvoltage between
the distribution box or power supply and the transmitter.
g)Transmitters can be installed vertically, obliquely or
horizontally in tanks and troughs. Impurities such as sediment should
be avoided from burying or blocking the transducer probe.
h)When the medium fluctuates greatly, measures should be taken to
fix the probe part of the transmitter, such as adding weight to the
transmitter or fixing the sleeve.
i)In addition to serving as power supply and signal transmission,
air-conducting cables also play a key role in atmospheric
compensation. When installing the cables, it is necessary to avoid
locking too tightly or bending too sharply in order to prevent the
air-conducting pipe from being blocked or broken.
j)When installing extension wires on site, please ensure that the
wiring part is kept dry and ventilated. It is strictly forbidden to
soak and avoid dampness and dirt blocking the atmospheric connecting
pipe in the cable center. Otherwise, the transmitter will be damaged
or the measurement will be inaccurate.
k)Please avoid scratching the cable of the liquid level
transmitter by a knife or other sharp metal object, causing damage to
the water intake of the transmitter.
l) This product belongs to weak current equipment. When wiring, it
should be separated from strong power cables and wiring should comply
with the relevant national wiring standards (GB/T50312-2016).
m) Ensure that the supply voltage of the power supply meets the
requirements of the power supply of the transmitter.
n) Users should not disassemble the diaphragm by themselves, let
alone touch the diaphragm, in order to avoid damage to the product.

Representing the shielded wire, all marked grounding points
must be effectively grounded.
Only current output has reverse protection (no damage but no
work), current limiting and voltage limiting.
Protection. Reverse connection of other output signals will cause
damage to the transmitter.
If you need to install extension wires, please ensure that the
wiring part is kept dry and ventilated.
