Telephone Microphone R38 , Removing And Installing - Volkswagen Golf 2015 Service Manual

– If necessary, cut the cable tie on the bracket -3-.
– Push the catches -2 and 5- in the direction of the
-arrows A and B-.
– Remove the Mobile Communication 2-Way Signal Amplifier -
J984- -1- from the bracket.
– Release and disconnect the connectors -4- from the Mobile
Communication 2-Way Signal Amplifier - J984- -1-.
– Remove the bolts -2-.
– Remove the bracket for the Mobile Communication 2-Way
Signal Amplifier - J984- -1- from the sidewall.
– If installed, release and disconnect the connectors from the
Parking Heater Radio Receiver - R64- -3-.
– If installed, remove the Parking Heater Radio Receiver - R64-
from the bracket for the Mobile Communication 2-Way Signal
Amplifier - J984- .
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Removing
– Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment.
– Remove the ignition key, if equipped.
– Remove the Front Interior Lamp - W1- . Refer to ⇒ Electrical
Equipment; Rep. Gr. 96 ; Controls; Front Interior Lamp/Read‐
ing Lamp, Removing and Installing .
– Release the hooks -arrows-.
– Remove the Telephone Microphone - R38- -1- from the Front
Interior Lamp - W1- .
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal.
