The Bluetooth hands-free calling function is integrated in the In‐
formation Electronics Control Module 1 - J794- .

Bluetooth is connected via the Cellular Telephone - R54- .
The Bluetooth Antenna - R152- is integrated in the Information
Electronics Control Module 1 - J794- .
The hands-free calling consists of the following components:
♦ Front Information Display Control Head - J685-
♦ Information Electronics Control Module 1 - J794- with Blue‐
tooth Antenna - R152-
♦ Storage Compartment with Cell Phone Interface - R265-
♦ Telephone Microphone - R38-
The Information Electronics Control Module 1 - J794- is part of
the hands-free setup.
Fault finding is performed via
Vehicle Diagnostic Tester .

Notes on Bluetooth Technology
A standardized radio connection is used to transfer data between
the Information Electronics Control Module 1 - J794- and Cellular
Telephone - R54- - Bluetooth
An additional transmitter/receiver unit is installed in the Informa‐
tion Electronics Control Module 1 - J794- . A Bluetooth Antenna
- R152- connects the Information Electronics Control Module 1 -
J794- and the Cellular Telephone - R54- so that the Cellular
Telephone - R54- can be operated without a wire connection.
The range is approximately 10 meters.
