  • Page 6 P a g e Hardware Connecting Bolts (27) Step 1: Side Board Prep Lay the Right and Left Side Boards down as shown, and screw Connecting Bolts into the holes provided. Note: Screw the Connecting Bolts into the panels until the collar of the Connecting Bolt is seated firmly against the surface of the wood.

With Help, position the Headboard between the Side Boards and under the Connecting Bolts. Lift the Headboard until the Connecting Bolts are seated inside the Cam-fittings.

Step 4 Hinged Headboard Top Installation Attach the Hinged Headboard to the Side Boards as illustrated.   • Page 18 P a g e | 11 Hardware ¼” Predrill Bit 3 ½” Screw Square Tip Bit Step 11: Securing the Bed Cabinet Surround to the Wall Bridge Back After 3 Studs have been located, use the ¼” drill bit to drill 3 holes through the Bridge Back ONLY corresponding to where studs Bridge Board are located.

    P a g e | 12 Hardware Lower Bracket Clevis Pin Cotter Pin Step 13: Connecting the Lower Bracket and the Piston Set the Piston in place in the Lower Brackets as illustrated and insert the Clevis Pin through the Lower Bracket and Piston. Once the Clevis Pin is in position, secure it in place using a Cotter Pin.

  • Page 21 P a g e | 14 Step 15: Connecting the Piston and the Lifting Arm Manuver the Piston and the Lifting Arm until the socket in the Piston lines up with the Ball Stud on the Lifting Arm. Once aligned, Push together until the Ball Stud snaps inside the Socket of the Piston.

  • Page 25 P a g e | 18 Step 20 Attach the Front Rail to the Side Rails using the Dowels for alignment. Secure the Front Rail in position using 4 (2 on each side) of the 2 ” Wood Screws and Black Finish Washers.

The face (finished or decorative side) of the Face Panels should be down. The holes around the perimeter of the Bed Face should be resting over the hardwood face support protruding from the Rails.

  • Page 30 P a g e | 23 Hardware Pivot Post Black Flange 50mm Bolt Step 26: Pivot Hardware Installation Line up the Pivot Hole in the Side Rail with a cooresponding threaded hole in the Lifting Arm mechanism. Slide the Black Flange into the Pivot Hole. Then, insert the 50mm Bolt through the Pivot Post and thread it into the threaded hole in the Lifting Arm mechanism for now, just start the threads.
  • Page 31 P a g e | 24 Step 27: Connecting the Desk and the Lifting Arm Lift the Bed Box and Desk up and into the closed position. Caution: the Bed Face will fall open if it is not held at this point.
