Feature Highlights

The following features are available for our Aquamega Water Purifier

Powerful Filtration

  • Sediment + Carbon-block filter.
  • Reduction of chlorine, taste & odor, chloramine, lead, mercury, cyst, VOCs, turbidity, Bisphenol A, Estrone, Ibuprofen, Naproxen, and Nonylphenol. See performance data sheet for individual contaminants and reduction performance.

Smart Water Purifier
Wi-Fi connectivity and Coway IoCare® Mobile App for smarter use of water purifier.

Electronic cooling system
Our cooling system does not use coolant, so it is an environmentally friendly water purifier system. In addition, noise due to the existing cooling function is reduced by use of an electrical energy based cooling function.

Easy filter replacement
Unlike the existing difficult water purifier filter replacement method that takes a long time, you can now easily replace the filter.

Ultra slim design
The sophisticated slim design makes it easy to use even in small spaces.

LED indicator
The controller/indicator's LED can show you the operational status of the product including filter replacement information.

The heart of a water filtration device is its filters. their life expectancy, their performance may decrease. If filters are not authorized or if authorized filters are used past

2-step Water Filtration System

2-step Water Filtration System

1st filter: Sediment Filter (B-N)
1st step: This Sediment filter has the functions to remove infusible particles from feed water and to protect the carbon block filter.

2nd filter: Carbon block Filter (B-I)
2nd step: This Carbon block filter has the functions to improve the water quality and taste by removing pollutants, such as odor-causing substances, soluble contaminant, chlorine and volatile organic compounds (VOC's).

* Fine bubbles (air bubbles) generated from the water dispensing from the direct type product is a temporary effect due to the water pressure. Fine bubbles (air bubbles) naturally disappear and cause no problem in water quality.
* If you boil purified water it can generate white precipitants. It is the effect of minerals in the water, not foreign substances.

HOW TO USE

Filter Replacement

Filter

Filters can determine the performance of the water purifier and should be regularly maintained and replaced. We only recommend using Coway authorized filters and using third party or depleted filters may decrease the overall performance of the water purifier. More details can be found on official Coway website (www.cowaymega.com)

Expected Replacement Cycle

If you do not regularly replace filters, the quality of water from the product will decrease. Predicted filter replacement cycles may vary depending on source water quality and amount of water used.

Aquamega200C

Filter Name Expected replacement period
Sediment Filter 3 months
Carbon block Filter 3 months

* Replace at the rated capacity or if a noticeable reduction in flow rate occurs.
* Filter replacement cycle based on the average daily use 1.5gal (5.7L/day).

About the filter replacement period

Each filter's recommended replacement cycle varies depending on water supply quality. For reference, the effective water capacity means the minimum treatment capacity for which contaminants can be effectively removed without cleaning, recycling, or replacing the inner filters, and recommended replacement cycles for individual filters may differ.

How To Replace The Filter

  1. Close the T-valve.
  2. Dispense ambient water once to release the remaining pressure.
  3. After removing the top cover, press the filter case button to remove the filter case.
  4. After removing the two fittings with your hands, turn it by 90 deg. Then remove the filter.
  5. After removing the used filter by turning it Counter clockwise, insert the new filter in the order of filter assembly by turning it clockwise.

B-N: Sediment filter, B-I: Carbon block filter

  1. Insert the new filters into the product and connect the two fittings again. Insert the filter case to the product and press firmly until you hear a clicking sound.
  2. Press the filter reset button for 2 seconds until you hear the chime before closing the cover to reset the filter indicator.
  1. After closing the top cover, open the T-valve.
  2. Dispense the ambient water for 3 minutes before using the cold water to flush the filters.
  3. Dispense the cold water for 3 minutes to flush cold water tank.

warning NOTE

  • New filters must be flushed out first before use.
  • Dispense the ambient water for 3 minutes before using the cold water.

warning Make sure that you run the ambient water to flush the filters properly before using the cold water.

warning After replacing the filter, drain the remaining cold water to clean the cold water tank. (See "How to Clean the Internal Water Tank")

1 These harmonized values were agreed upon by representatives of USEPA and Health Canada for the purpose of evaluating products to the requirements of this Standard.

2 Influent challenge levels are average influent concentrations determined in surrogate qualification testing.

3 Maximum product water level was not observed but was set at the detection limit of the analysis.

4 maximum product water level is set at a value determined in surrogate qualification testing.

5 Chemical reduction percent and maximum product water level calculated at chloroform 95% breakthrough point as determined in surrogate qualification testing.

6 The surrogate test results for heptachlor epoxide demonstrated a 98% reduction. These data were used to calculate an upper occurrence concentration which would produce a maximum product water level at the MCL.
