Use with Lasers
This product may be used with Medical Application Lasers associated with surgical
procedures. Basic protective safety measures must be always be taken in the presence
of laser use. For example, avoid potential eye damage to the operator by, for example,
wearing suitable protective filtering spectacles or other eyewear. Consult the operators
manual of the laser in use for instructions to the correct safety measures to be followed.
Use with High Frequency Radio frequency (RF)
Equipment
This product may be used with High Frequency RF Surgical equipment associated with
surgical procedures.
Safe operation of these types of equipment is solely dependent on the equipment
operator.
A Safety Hazard can exist in the event of the operation of RF Surgery equipment in the
presence of explosive gas concentrations that could exist in medical procedures.
A Patient Safety Hazard could exist when endoscopes are used with energized
accessories such as RF Surgical Instruments. Care must be exercised to prevent the
summation of Patient Electrical Leakage Current whenever any electrical equipment is
also used in the patient care field.
