Lamp Replacement
Caution: Lamp May Be Hot!
Be sure to check the Troubleshooting guide for other possible problems before
replacing the Solarc® Lamp. Always have a spare lamp in stock for immediate
replacement when needed. Use only Welch Allyn replacement lamp No. 09500.
To replace the lamp, follow the steps below. Use caution as the lamp may be hot.
1. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
2. Turn the VDX-300 Platform Box over and lay it flat on a horizontal surface
to access the lamp replacement door on the bottom.
3. Insert a coin or screwdriver into the slot to remove the screw from the lamp
replacement door and remove the door.
