■ Attenuator

The Attenuator prevents a desired signal from becoming
distorted when a powerful signal is near the frequency, or
when a powerful electric field, such as from a broadcasting
station, is near your location.
L These settings can be separately set in A band and B
band.
1.
Push [QUICK].
2.
Select "ATT."
3.
Set the Attenuator level to between "ATT1" and
"ATT4."
L The higher the level, the larger the attenuation amount
becomes.

■ Lock function

Activate to prevent accidental frequency changes and
unnecessary function access.
Hold down [
] for 1 second to turn ON the Key Lock
function.
• When the Key Lock function is ON, and the locked key or
[DIAL] is pushed or rotated, "LOCK ON" is displayed.
L Information
• To turn OFF the function, hold down [
again (Until "LOCK OFF" is displayed).
• [ ], [SQL], and [VOL] can be used even if the Key Lock
function is ON.
• You can change the keys to be locked on the MENU screen.
([MENU] > SET > Function > Key Lock)

■ AF Filter function

The AF Filter suppresses high-pitch tones.
L This function can be separately set for each band and
receive mode.
1.
Push [QUICK].
2.
Select "AF Filter."
3.
Select "ON."
• "FIL" is displayed.
