Brake (scissor brake), adjustment

The brake is infinitely adjustable.
1. Loosen the screws .
2. Ease out the brake in "braking mode".
3. Slide the brake towards the tyre and make
a mark on the frame with a pencil.
4. Ease back the brake and move it approx.

7-10 mm in the direction of the rear wheel.
Tighten the screws and test the brake.
Adjust as necessary.
The braking effect depends on
the air pressure in the tyres. The brake
is a parking brake and should not be
used as a service brake.
