4.1. (U)SIM Interfaces

The module provides two (U)SIM interfaces. The circuitry of (U)SIM interfaces meets ETSI and IMT-2000
requirements. Both 1.8 V and 3.0 V (U)SIM cards are supported, and Dual SIM Single Standby function
is supported. (U)SIM card hot-plug is enabled by AT+QUIMSLOT command. See document [4] for
details about the AT command.

The module supports (U)SIM card hot-plug via USIM_DET pins, and both high and low level detection
are supported. The function is disabled by default, and see AT+QSIMDET in document [4] for more
details.
The following figure shows a reference design for a (U)SIM interface with an 8-pin (U)SIM card
connector.
