SECTION 7—SEAT
NOTE: The seat locks in position at 90° intervals. The seat is locked when an audible "click" is
heard.
3. Rotate the seat to the desired position.
4. Release seat lever to lock seat in desired position.
NOTE: Ensure that the seat is locked in position before operating the scooter.

REMOVING/INSTALLING SEAT POSITIONING

ALWAYS wear your seat positioning strap.
The seat positioning strap is a positioning belt ONLY. It is not designed for use as a
safety device withstanding high stress loads such as auto or aircraft safety belts. If
signs of wear appear, belt must be replaced immediately.
NOTE: For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 7.5.
1. Remove the two (2) mounting screws and washers that secure the seat positioning
straps to the arm frame.
2. Remove the two (2) halves of the seat positioning strap from the arm frame.
3. Reposition the two (2) new seat positioning strap halves underneath arm frame.
4. Reinstall the two (2) mounting screws and washers that secure the seat positioning
straps to the arm frame. Securely tighten.
