4.2 Configuring a new connection
1. From Control Panel, select Network and Sharing
Center > Set up a new connection or network.
2. Click Connect to the Internet and then Next.
3. Select Dial-up and, if requested, the modem
previously installed.
4. Enter the parameters for the dial-up connection:
The module telephone number: *99***1#
o
(Change, if using a PDP context different from
1)
The specific account information for the
o
network operator
A name for the connection, e.g.,
o
"EVK-LEXI-R520 dial-up"
The packet data connection is now ready with EVK-LEXI-R520. Click Connect, then start a browser to
check internet connectivity.
Consult the cellular network operator for username and password. Usually, they can remain empty.
