Range of remote control
NOTE:
This remote control unit may not function properly if
an obstruction is located between it and the receiv-
ing unit, or if the remote control unit is held at an im-
proper angle with respect to the receiving unit.
The remote control unit may not operate properly if
strong direct sunlight or fluorescent light is striking
the signal receiver of the receiver. In such conditions,
change the installation location or move the fluores-
cent lamp further away from the signal receiver.
Malfunction or misoperation may result if the unit is
used near other appliances emitting infrared radiation,
or when another infrared remote control unit is used.
Similarly, when this remote control unit is used near
another component using an infrared remote control
receiver, that component may malfunction.
When you notice that the range in which the remote
control unit can be used becomes notably shorter than
normal, notably shorter than normal, replace both of
the old batteries at the same time with fresh new bat-
teries.
When not using the remote control unit for extended
periods (one month or more}, remove the batteries to
prevent any damage from leakage.

@ L'unité de télécommande peut ne pas fonctionner cor-
rectement si une obstruction se trouve entre celle-ci
et l'appareil de réception, ou si I'unité de télécom-
mande est tenue a un angle incorrect par rapport a
l'appareil de réception.
e L'unité de télécommande peut ne pas fonctionner cor-
_rectement si une forte lumiére solaire ou éclairage fluo-
rescent frappe la fenétre du détecteur de |'ampli-
syntoniseur.
Dans ce cas, changer l'emplacement
d'installation ou éloigner la lampe fluorescente du
détecteur.
® Un fonctionnement défectueux peut se produire si
lunité est utilisée prés d'autres appareils émettant des
rayons infrarouges ou lorsqu'une autre unité de télé-
commande infrarouge est utilisée. De méme, lorsque
cette unité de télécommande
est utilisée pres d'un
autre composant équipé d'un détecteur de té/écom-
mande infrarouge, ce composant peut ne pas fonc-
tionner correctement.
e@ Lorsque I'on remarque que la portée efficace de la télé-
commande diminue par rapport a la normale, rempla-
cer les deux anciennes piles en méme temps par des
nouvelles.
@ Lorsque I'unité de télécommande nest pas utilisée
pendant longtemps (un mois ou plus), retirer les piles
afin d'éviter qu'une fuite l'endommage.
