Attaching The Hitch Assembly
1. Remove the hardware assembled on the hitch as-
sembly and place the hitch on the end of the tongue.
2. Insert hex bolt through flat washer, end of safety
chain, and then rear hitch hole. Pivot the end of safety
chain so it faces the ball end of hitch. See Figure 3-3.
3. Insert the other safety chain on the other end of the
hex bolt and secure with flange lock nut.
4. Insert hex bolt through the front hole of hitch and
secure with flange lock nut. Tighten both flange lock
nuts to 23 ft-lbs.
Assembling The Fenders, Wheels,
Tongue, and Beam
1. Remove the self tapping screw and flat washer from
the tank and the self tapping screw, flat washer, and
lock nut from the fender mount bracket. See Figure
3-4.
2. Place fender on fender mount bracket.
3. Insert screw through flat washer, hole in top of fender,
and fender mount bracket. Secure with lock nut.
4. Insert self tapping screw through flat washer, the
hole in side of fender, and into the hole in the tank it
was removed from in Step 1. See Figure 3-4. Tighten
securely.
Attaching The Wheels To The Reservoir Tank
Assembly
1. Block up the reservoir tank assembly about eight to
twelve inches.
2. Remove and discard plastic shipping caps on the
outside of the wheels.
3. Remove the cotter pin, hex slotted nut, and flat washer
from each axle. See Figure 3-5.
NOTE: It is recommended that you wipe the axles with
emery cloth before you install the wheels.
4. Place a wheel on each axle with the valve stem facing
outward.
5. Place a flat washer on each axle and secure with hex
slotted nut.
6. Tighten slotted nut until snug and then back off
approximately 1/3 turn or until one of the slots on the
slotted nut lines up with the hole in the axle.
7. Insert cotter pins through slots in nuts and holes in
axle and secure by bending the ends of the cotter pins
in opposite directions.

NOTE: The wheels should spin freely and there should
be no side to side play.
8. Place hub caps in position on wheels and tap onto
axle with a soft hammer or mallet. See Figure 3-5.
WARNING: Maximum tire pressure
under any circumstance is 30 psi.
Equal tire pressure should be main-
tained at all times.
