Token Ring Installation When Using Either X-One or
Exodus Software
The following procedure replaces the existing Installing the Token Ring Software on the
Full-Feature Workstation procedure in Chapter 5. You use this procedure regardless of whether
you have installed X-One or Exodus software.
Installing the Token Ring Software on the Full-Feature Workstation
The Whitepine Exodus server software or the GraphPoint X-One software must be installed prior
to the installation of any Token Ring software on the full-feature workstation. The Exodus or
X-One software must be configured for use with a packet driver. For more information, please
refer to the section Installing the Whitepine eXodus Software Package with a StarLAN 10 NAU.
Follow Steps 1 through 22 listed in Chapter 5 of the installation guide for the Installing the Token
Ring Software on the Full-Feature Workstation procedure. Replace the remaining steps with the
following instructions.
