31. Click on Select All.
32. Click on Compile. A dialog box appears saying ''The output font directory c:\exceed\user
is not in the font database. Do you wish to add it to the font database..."
33. Click on Done after all fonts are compiled. A dialog box appears saying ''The output font
directory c:\exceed\usr is not in the font database. Do you wish to add it to the font
database...''
34. Click on Yes. The Add Font Directory dialog box appears.
35. Type nms for File Name[*.fdb] and change State from Load to Keep.
36. Click on OK. A dialog box appears saying ''Font directory c:\exceed\user has been added.
37. Click on OK.
38. Close the Compile Fonts dialog box.
39. Close the Font Settings dialog box.
40. Double click on the Window Mode icon. A Window Mode dialog box appears.
41. Change the Window Mode option from Multiple to Single.
42. Click on OK.
43. Close the Window Mode dialog box.
44. Double click on Xstart icon from the eXceed program group. An Xstart – (Untitled) dialog
box appears.
45. Select the File option and click on Open from File menu.

46. Select file in Open dialog box and click on OK. An Xstart – (6800.XS) dialog
box appears with following:

47. Click on Install.
48. Select eXceed for the Program Group Description in Install dialog box and click on OK.
An icon ''6800" is created in the eXceed program group.
49. Close the Xstart dialog box.
