To keep your blood pressure monitor in the best condition and protect
the unit from damage, follow the directions listed below:
• Remove the batteries before cleaning.
• The body of the device can be cleaned with a clean, soft cloth.
If necessary, you can use a slightly damp cloth.
• Do not fold the cuff to tightly.
• Do not bend or crease the air tube excessively.
CAUTION
• Do not use any abrasive or volatile cleaners.
• Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid to protect
against electrical hazards and damage.
• Store the device and the components in a clean, safe location.
• Do not subject the monitor to extreme temperatures, humidity,
direct sunlight, dust or corrosive vapors such as bleach, vibrations
or shocks.
• Remove the batteries if the unit will not be used for three months
or longer. Always replace all the batteries with new ones at the
same time.
