Het opblazen van de manchet kan namelijk blauwe plekken veroorzaken. • Voer metingen NIET vaker uit dan noodzakelijk, omdat er blauwe plekken kunnen ontstaan als gevolg van verstoring van de bloedstroom.

    wat u over bloeddruk moet weten Wat zijn systolische en diastolische bloeddruk? Wanneer de ventrikels samentrekken en bloed uit het hart pompen, bereikt de bloeddruk zijn maximale waarde; de hoogste druk in de cyclus staat bekend als de systolische druk. Als het hart zich tussen de slagen ontspant, is de bloeddruk het laagst.

    PAS OP: Als het pictogram voor een onregelmatige hartslag verschijnt, heeft het apparaat tijdens de meting een onregelmatigheid waargenomen die wijst op een onregelmatige hartslag. Trek de manchet omhoog over uw linkerbovenarm. Opmerking: de onderkant van de armmanchet moet zich 2 tot 3 cm (0,79-1,18 inch) boven de elleboogplooi bevinden.

Controleer zelf de riem van de manchet -pictogram staat altijd op het scherm als de manchet correct is aangebracht.

Gebruik zo nodig een enigszins vochtige doek.

When ventricles contract and pump blood out of the heart, blood pressure reaches its maximum value, the highest pressure in the cycle is known as systolic pressure. When the heart relaxes between heartbeats, the lowest blood pressure is diastolic pressure.
