Installation Instruction
Follow the installation directions below to optimize system heat dissipation. Position
the CPU on the left side of the system for effective heat reduction. It is strongly rec-
ommended to maintain ample space to enhance natural airflow.
Note!
The AMAX-354 is equipped with a robust, fanless thermal solution. Heat
generated by the motherboard is dissipated through metal chassis heat
conduction. It is normal for the metal chassis to reach higher tempera-
tures during operation as it efficiently releases internal heat outside. The
design's quality has been verified through reliability tests, ensuring sta-
ble and reliable operation in both low and high operating temperatures.
When the system is in operation, the surface temperature of the chassis may
become hotter. We recommend that users wear gloves or refrain from touching
the system until it has had sufficient time to cool down.
If the external ambient temperature surpasses the maximum operating tempera-
ture indicated on the specification sheet, additional thermal testing will be nec-
essary to confirm that the components will not surpass the maximum claimed
operating temperature under such conditions.
The system integrator bears full responsibility for assessing the sufficiency of
any thermal or system design. Advantech does not provide any warranties or
assurances that simply adhering to the instructions outlined in this document will
guarantee a system with satisfactory thermal performance.
