4 Section D - Environmental Policy

RPM Tech management has taken the green approach and takes the engagement of doing business in
respect with the environment and principles of sustainable development. RPM Tech is a corporate
citizen and therefore assumes its role as a leader in its industry by aiming for high quality standards in
the making of its products and environment management.
This engagement goes beyond simply respecting all the environmental laws and regulations already
established. It also involves the integration of healthy environmental practice in all our business
decisions.
In that regard, we want to remind you that:
Regular maintenance of your snow blower and an adequate use may prevent excessive fuel
consumption.
All used fluids, filters and batteries may be picked up by recycling firms. Check with your local
services for more information.
Snow removal operations in rural, forester or national park areas may have to comply with
environmental requirements. Make sure that you are compliant with the local authorities.
Aging equipment is always subject to leaks, to higher GHG emissions, noise and other
environmental constraints. At that point, a major upgrade of the snow blower may be required, and
if not enough, the replacement of the snow blower should be considered. Next page chart indicates
where you can dispose of snow blower components for recycling and reuse ends. You may contact
your local authorities or your RPM Tech dealer for more information.
