Clutch Configuration Procedure

The clutch angles need to be reprogrammed when the angle sensor or clutch were manipulated. They will
also need to be adjusted when the snow blower encounters major engagement errors. The configuration
consists of programming the angle limits that the controller uses to prevent the clutch from slipping.
1. Display the Clutch Configuration Page:
Go to the service menu by placing the key switch in the ON position while pressing
under the screen. Release
page and type the correct password. Enter the clutch configuration page.
2. Angle Programming:
To program the « Disengaged » box, the following conditions need to be respected:
• The clutch lever must be in the disengaged position.
• When the manual clutch lever is moved from the disengaged position to the engaged position,
the value displayed in the "Actual Angle" box needs to increase. If it decreases or does not
change, the angle sensor will have to be manually realigned by turning the bracket.
• Once the clutch is completely disengaged, the value in the "Actual Angle" box should be
between 400 and 1500. If not the case, the angle sensor will have to be manually realigned by
turning the bracket.
When these conditions are respected, the operator types in the value shown in the "Actual Angle"
box in the "Disengaged Desired Value".
To program the "Engaged" box, the following conditions need to be respected:
A. The manual clutch lever must be positioned engaged using the manual lever. When
engaged, the clutch will hold its position and the lever will not come back.
B. When the clutch is moved, the value displayed in the "Actual Angle" box needs to increase.
If it decreases or does not change, the angle sensor will have to be manually realigned by
manually turning the bracket.
C. When the clutch is completely engaged, the value should be greater than the one typed in
the "Disengaged" box.
When these conditions are respected, the operator can type the value shown in the "Actual
Angle" box in the "Desired Engaged Value".
3. Saving the New Configuration:
Once both limit angles are entered in the appropriate fields, they must be saved.
display will save these modifications. Once saved, the « saved values» fields should display the
desired values.
