3 Section C - Troubleshooting and Emergency
Procedures
Accident or Equipment Failure
In case of mechanical breakdown or accident, press the red emergency button located near the joystick.
The engine of the snow blower will stop but the clutch will remain engaged. To restart the snow blower
after an emergency stop, it is necessary to manually disengage the clutch by using the lever, and then
restart your snow blower.
Obstruction of the Telescopic Chute
When the chute is clogged, stop the engine of the snow blower; then, using a snow shovel, try to remove
the snow. Never shake the snow blower with the loader to remove the snow that clogs the chute. This
action will cause irreparable damage to the chassis of your snow blower.
Engine Will not Start
Refer to the engine operator's manual regarding starting problems and check the following:
1. Ensure that the clutch is fully disengaged. Check the manual clutch lever.
2. Verify that there is no engine error in activation and that the emergency buttons are not engaged.
3. If a clutch error is activated, check the clutch angles and set up again, if needed.
Clutch Does not Engage
1. Engine should be at idle speed. Reduce the engine speed to its minimum so the clutch can engage.
2. Check for the good status of the clutch angle sensor.
3. Hydraulic oil is too cold. Wait for the hydraulic oil to be warm enough.
4. Verify that not object is blocking the movement of the clutch lever.
5. Check the oil pressure of the clutch cylinder.
6. Check the hydraulic and electronic connexions.
