Installing the engine guard (XC)

Position the engine guard on the frame.

Mount screws , but do not tighten yet.
Guideline
Remaining screws,

Mount screws with bushings, but do not tighten yet.
Guideline
Remaining screws,

The engine guard is directed evenly toward the front.
–
Tighten all the screws of the engine guard.

Condition
The air filter box cover is secured.

Remove screw .
–
Pull off the air filter box cover in area
ways and forward. Take off the air filter box cover.
Condition
The air filter box cover is not secured.
–
Pull off the air filter box cover in area
ways and forward. Take off the air filter box cover.
M6 10 Nm (7.4 lbf ft)
